Sara Jensen is Principal of Brighter Messaging, a digital marketing agency that helps small businesses manage their online presence. She specializes in helping service-based businesses create common-sense marketing strategies and understand the impact of their spending. Brighter's team of seven women includes all of the talent needed to build websites, run SEO campaigns, manage social media, and help clients grow their businesses.

Sara is a writer first who built her career in strategic sales and marketing, primarily in corporate learning and development. She started working as a freelance content writer in 2012 and launched Brighter Messaging out of a desire to help people who were saying things like, “I know I need to show up online, but I have no idea how to do it.” Sara holds a Master's degree from Duke and a Bachelor's from Denison University.

Away from work, Sara is a wife and mom. When she’s not driving her kids around, you can find her doing yoga, singing at church, or buried in a book. She’s particularly passionate about collaborating with other women who are harmonizing motherhood with a creative career.
